Assessment Method:	Written assessment and Completion of a Risk Assessment within the workplace Certificate of Competence awarded

Duration:	3 days

Target Audience	Individuals who will be involved in the completion of Manual Handling Risk Assessments and/or the delivery of Manual Handling training; it is assumed that delegates will have already undertaken either the Manual Handling Awareness Course or Manual Handling Course for Managers
Assessment Method:	Written and practical assessment Certificate of Competence in Manual Handling awarded
Key Issues Addressed:	Anatomy of the Back and Back Care Safe moving techniques Ergonomics Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 Manual Handling Risk Assessments This course focuses on the movement of inanimate objects only. This is NOT a Train the Trainer Course, but focuses exclusively on Manual Handling issues
